Daniel Beutel, CTO of XAIN, will be speaking at Chainges, the first community planned blockchain and cryptocurrency conference, to be held in Amsterdam, on May 4th And 5th.

Tell us about what you are doing now?

We at XAIN AG provide industry solutions based on blockchain intelligence as a combination of blockchain technology and machine learning. The focus of the company lies, in particular, on building an energy-efficient and GDPR-compliant distributed intelligent system. This allows for an enterprise-ready, robust and adaptable infrastructure for automated business processes. At the moment, in the core field of application are industrial sectors such as automotive, supply chain and manufacturing, as well as financial accounting.

How was the last year, what worked well, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?

Last year was very successful for us, as we got lots of attention from industrial companies, gained new clients and partners and won the 1st Porsche Innovation Contest. However, we also faced challenges, for instance we found it hard to quickly find blockchain experts, due to the novelty of this field.

What are your plans for the future?

We want to contribute to a world where equally-distributed intelligent systems enable collaboration and trust. In the future, we will continue helping our clients accelerate the speed of innovation. It is very probable that we will introduce more use case verticals as well as tap into new markets (e.g. Japan).

What will you be talking about at Chainges?

We will explain how to combine Blockchain and AI to build the next generation of fully decentralized supply chain and automotive networks.

What inspired you to attend it?

Our inspiration for attending Chainges is driven by its focus on the actual needs and interests of the representatives from the industry. This is a quite unique approach!

Which influencers and websites do you follow to keep up to date with the latest developments?

We are following TechCrunch, Hackernoon, Blockchain Innovation Podcast, Jason Goldberg, Frederick Munawa, Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, as well as news from bitkom and SIBB.
