Following in the footsteps of global brands, Shiba Inu is making its dive into the metaverse. Shiba Lands will mark the community’s first step to the metaverse before its release. The virtual real estate platform takes inspiration from popular metaverse projects like Sandbox and Decentraland to create a similar experience for the community.

As per the announcement, the plots in the yet-to-be-named metaverse will be available for purchase soon. The title of the metaverse is expected to be unveiled sometime this month. The team is working closely with other projects for the research, design, and development of the Metaverse.

SHIB and LEASH on a rally

Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens $SHIB and $LEASH saw a huge uptick in demand soon after the news went live. $LEASH holders will in particular be at an advantage, as the project has something in store for the Doge Killer.

A queue system will be specifically developed for the Shiba Land sales event to mitigate the troubles caused by bots and gas fees. It is also designed to facilitate a fair and smooth event. $LEASH holders will have priority and exclusive access to the first phase of the plot sales in the Shiba Inu Metaverse. The team has also devised an anti-dump system to prevent the token price from plummeting once the sales conclude.

The remaining lands will be unlocked to the public after the first phase of exclusive sale. Each plot of land in the Metaverse will have attached benefits, as part of enhancing its allure in the market.

“The metaverse is set to be one of the biggest areas within crypto for many to enjoy, while others will produce content and developers will set up shops within using it as another great resource to offer crypto communities incentivization, content, and regular royalties. Like everything Shib does, we will lead this metaverse sector. At this time, our early phase of development continues for the Shiba Inu Metaverse,” reads the announcement
