A wide range of resources like albums, portraits, digital sound sources, and avatars will go into the making of the NFTs. Featuring K-pop artists under the management of Cube Ent, they will offer true digital property rights along with other benefits that come with blockchain tokenization.
“K-pop is taking the world by storm, and here at Animoca Brands we can’t wait to work with Cube Ent and its roster of K-pop artists as we continue our efforts to make the open metaverse a reality,” said Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands.
Animoca Brands is one of the leading blockchain gaming companies that boasts a broad portfolio of products like the Sandbox, Crazy Kings, and Crazy Defense Heroes. The company is also behind REVV token and SAND token, which were on a dizzying upward spiral earlier this month owing to the metaverse rage. This is not the first time Animoca is leveraging popular intellectual properties. It has developed products based on Formula 1®, Marvel, WWE, Power Rangers, and MotoGP™ to name a few. On the other hand, Cube Ent turns musicians in the rough to outstanding artists to produce quality content for the global market.
As Ahn Woo Hyung, CEO of Cube Ent, rightly points out, the joint venture marks a key milestone in building a global digital culture market and advancing the digital content industry.
