Tontine Trust is leading the development of a new Decentralised Pensions Industry which dis-intermediates the existing $350BN per annum Life Annuity industry saving global consumers an estimated 30% of their pension which is normally lost in fees & commissions. The Tontine platform when launched in 2018 will incentivise a global community of Financial Advisors to add Billions of client assets to the platform utilising a $500m reserve of TON$, the utility currency of the platform. The project is already receiving substantial interest and support from many of the best known names in the US pensions industry. The US is currently the largest market in the world for the retirement income products and has historically seen mass market adoption of Tontines such that greater than 50% of all US households invested in Tontines which at one point held over 7% of total US household wealth.
