What was the inspiration to start it?

We wanted to help people understand the challenges and opportunities around Initial Coin Offerings; this is education not promotion!

Team Blockchain’s Jonny Fry will be giving an update titled ‘Recent developments in the CryptoCurrency market and evolving trends’.

Jonny Fry is a blockchain, crypto economics, ICO and funds specialist, with over 25 years’ experience as CEO of an asset management business, which he floated in London with over £1 Billion under management.

DLA Piper’s Martin Bartlam will be talking on ‘Legal challenges around ICOs’.

Martin Bartlam is experienced in complex capital markets transactions, securitization and derivatives. He has over 20 years of experience as a finance lawyer and has lectured on and acted as external examiner on international bond finance, project finance, syndicated lending and financial instruments at Kings College, London University.

Team Blockchain’s Gary Nuttall will be explaining ‘The Opportunities Challenges and myths of Blockchain’, An overview of blockchain technology that underpins many ICOs and the most common questions people ask about blockchain.

Gary Nuttall has over twenty-five years’ commercial technology experience working in a number of sectors including retail, pharmaceuticals, commodity trading and insurance. He provides blockchain consultancy and is a regular presenter, keynote speaker and evangelist on blockchain, ICO’s and cryptocurrency.

Cardano Taro Yoshioka and Nathalie Prang will be talking about ICOs from a Japanese view and Cardano’s plans having carried out a successful ICO.

Kentaro Yoshioka is the Executive of the UK branch of the Japanese start-up Emurgo, the Cardano entity specialized in business development. With a mixed cultural background, Taro, as he likes to be called, carried out cross-cultural studies and anthropology, and backpacked throughout 120 countries around the world.

Nathalie previously worked in Research & Development at Apple and, after being part of a well-established corporation, she recently joined the Japanese start-up Emurgo in London to be part of the cryptocurrency market and blockchain technology adventure, believing that they are going to play major roles in the future of our worldwide society.
